MEET OUR FACULTY:

Board Stiff Live® is a private enterprise of board certified, sub-specialty trained, practicing academic anesthesiologists dedicated to one mission, providing an effective board preparation experience to our clients.
Christopher Gallagher started the whole ball rolling when studying for his own oral boards. Why was it so onerous? Why did people fall apart quaking in their wing tips? Why ask why? The point was that the real crux of the situation is that people were not used to talking out loud and defending their points. They had never taken an oral board exam in their lives and this was about to be the first (and most anxiety ridden) experience. Well the answer was quite clear. With the Board Stiff series of books on taking the oral boards, Chris made the opaque clear, the rivers part, and the sun shine. But what no book can do is make you practice with someone who can correct, guide, and critique you ... so Board Stiff the review series begat Board Stiff Live® for the Oral Boards.

But why stop there? Why not offer weekend sessions for the written boards? Why do fools fall in love? The answer is as clear as the federal budget; we apply our highly personalized style to helping clients parse through written questions to find out what in the heck the board is actually asking.

And now our founding fathers…or fondling fathers…or fabulous fathers (for you Will and Grace fans)

About Our Teaching Faculty:
Our faculty consists of board certified academic anesthesiologists with a complete range of sub-specialty training. Why all academic faculty?…besides the fact they all need a little extra money? These are the people that teach professionally. Every day they pimp, question, lecture, write books and articles; this is their territory. Why so many sub-specialists? Because a cardiac anesthesiologist may not know the risks of uterine exteriorization or a neuro-anesthesiologist may not now how to calculate the flow velocity from a TEE and so on and so on….
